Unable to open or send PM's ...
I don't know if Daniel has been notified of this, but because there seems to be so many
who are suffering from this difficulty, I thought I'd post a thread about the problem.
Many poets whom I PM frequently with are having problems opening and/or sending
PM's. All that happens when they try to open one is they get the header at the top
as usual, (ie: Home · FAQ · Topics · Web Links · Your Account · Stats · Top 30 · OldSite 21 June, 08:55:23 AEST )
and then a blank page. They can neither read the PM nor send any. There is the word
"done" in the bottom left hand corner, indicating that the page has finished loading,
but there is nothing on it, except that header.
Also a couple times, (myself included), some have tried to comment on a write
and keep getting, that dreaded "Internal Server Error" message ...
Don't know if this has been addressed and is being worked on or what, but I just
thought someone should post ..

okay .... I am not having problems with PMing, but some members still are and some have told me they can't
even sign in to their page.
Today I had a similar problem ... I couldn't sign in. Everytime I clicked the "Your Account" button at the top,
it would load (or seemingly) the page but only the header and side menus were visible. The whole middle
of the page was blank. When I was FINALLY able to log in, after waiting it out for a couple hours, I went to
the homepage and the same thing appeared there. I get the headings and side menus, but none of the
poetry recently submitted is visible.
Could someone, (ANYONE), please get back to me on what's going on with the site and if this problem is
being looked into and will be corrected in the foreseeable future? As you can likely guess, it's getting
rather frustrating. What's the point of an interactive site, if you can't interact?
Any help/answers/response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I don't know if this is going to help anyone or not, but I've been having problems for several weeks now with the site involving it taking anywhere up to 5 minutes for pages to load in the forums, and then the last couple days I started getting errors anytime I tried to access the site at all in which IE had to abort the operation. last night it happened to me on another site too, so I finally gave in and downloaded firefox. ypdc has been working perfectly fine for me ever since. I don't know how many of you use firefox as opposed to IE, but if you're having trouble with it on IE, it might be something to try.

Since yesterday afternoon I have been unable to see the home page screen at all. It is blank. Is it just me or is someone else having a problem with this??

OK,
I think I have this fixed, I think it may have been a combination of little things that caused all the problems. Between, a small update at server level, a hidden Internet Explorer auto update, and an ad code update, is what I think may have caused all the problems. If anyone is still having issues, please let me know.
