Poem of the Day?

Perhaps you could post a "poem of the day" feature (with the best poem, or poems, from the day before) at the top of the site where evryone will see it. (above the new poems)

You could create a team that is responsible for picking this everyday. I'm sure there would be plenty of volunteers.

While this is a nice idea, I think tastes would vary too widely as to what would constitute a best poem. The forum topic by this name in General Discussions is a place for members to post a link to their favorite read of the day, and I encourage all to peruse and post in it. I think that topic better embodies the spirit of this website, which is not about competition, as a "best" poem of the day undoubtedly would.
