Dreams...
I had... a dream last night and don't know where else to put this. It may be the last write I do here...
I've believed for a long time that people are networked brains. Take a look sometime at the scientific portrayals of what goes through the nerves and the synapses. It is EMPTY SPACE that impulses from one to the other travel through. Like radio waves. What is in our brains and inbetween every thing that exists? Empty space! Thoughts travel. Good ones. Bad ones. They propagate and grow. Look up the word "meme" now. Same thing.
I have felt and believed all this before. Yet last night... what can I say?
I saw a dream of people being able to reach each other's souls and touch the creator.
(Fair enough, what next?)
Then I saw that the creator was not alone, but there were other creators and they also were networked by their very souls. And that they were put in place by some other higher power --
And then... then ... where does it end? Where did it start?
No answers. Only this.
If it's true; then we are *never* alone.
And now I'm not afraid to be, because what is apparent is just an illusion.
Maybe none of you will ever answer this post. But you -will- respond in some way and that response will travel. And maybe, just maybe, affect someone else as well when the thoughts travel the airwaves of *empty space*.
No one -has- to believe in "God" to see this possiblity. Those who do have the gift of a label to put on it, but that label means different things to different people. That is a fact of human communication we must acknowledge, and it causes so many misunderstandings.
So no one has to feel pressured to answer this. Because I was given that dream and I've posted it. I've done my job, which is to put out the words.
Love and blessings to all;
Me[/i]

Re: Dreams...
Your dream and your thoughts. Very thought provoking and inspirational.
In reference to your statement: "I've believed for a long time that people are networked brains." I read that and thought wow....I believe I feel this way too if I am understanding you correctly.
I believe your dream could be a vision. A vision that we, as human beings, may not be able to undertsnad yet. A part of us that we do not yet know how to control. Hence, no answers.
Wow, I could go on and on and say so much about this, this dream, your thoughts, your beliefs, and then mine. But right now I'm not sure even if it's worth posting and wow, I really have to have something finished before tomorrow and I'm not there yet.
You are very deep and thought provoking.
Take care,
Tim

It's true. As far as I'm aware of |Truth|
Re: Dreams...
Wow... I had no idea this thread was still alive. Hi peeps!
Watched an interesting show on the science channel last night about Galileo, Newton, Einstein, and Hawking - and what the next step will be in finding "the key to the universe". Interesting program! I love watching things like that.
I want to learn physics, but I'm really slow at complicated math.
*sigh*
I -did- understand "Mindwalk" though. A really excellent job explaining systems theory.
I wonder though, just how many nice thoughts I would have to send someone's way in order for them to feel like they had a really excellent day?
*Wanders off to go listen to Feynman's lectures again....>>>>>

Re: Dreams...
Hey Jules ?
If there were any of those nice thoughts directed my way ....
They worked.
Nazzy ~
( thanks ... and uh, could you do it again tomorrow ? )
Re: Dreams...
Actually, Nazzy, if I hadn't been so *distracted* this afternoon,
they would have been directed toward someone a little more grumpy.

But I'll keep you in mind tomorrow.
J.
Re: Dreams...
It still seems to be alive and well....or I resurrected it
And if I did resurrect it...I'm so happy that I didn't get in trouble this time for doing so.
*who has a fear of resurrecting threads*
