Lost poems
I find that a lot of people tend to post at the same time in the evening, and this pushes some great poems to the bottom of the list, so they dont get read or commented on, so i spend a while scrolling down to give my opinions. Perhaps the option to review an unread poem on the user acount screen, to ensure the writer gets some feedback. I dont know how viable this is and its just a suggestion.

That's a pretty good idea. Basically, I think maybe the site's home page could lead to more exposure for so many parts of this site. Like let's take your idea and put a bit of a spin on it. What if the home page lists the usernames that recently entered new poetry, like the journal page. I dunno i'm just throwing out ideas. Maybe there could be some kind of arrangement so that people could see more poems on the home page as is. A simple font change could help out even...

All poems are on a user's account screen before and after they have left the homepage that is how they can be accessed. They don't just disappear into thin air. Click on the person's name, it'll bring you to their account page.

mthinks oska was trying to point out that there was a lack of facility for remembering which poems were read, and which weren't . . ? am I right?
At any rate- fielding's idea about recent submitting poets is good, since that could abbreviate the size of the home page somewhat, freeing it up for all the other home page suggestions we've got underneath this one . . .
