STARS
umm.. I get confused when I vote. (I get confused at other times too..but let's try and focus, shall we LOL)... any hooo.. When I really like a poem and I vote it a 5..someone else comes along, that doesn't like it as much and then votes it a 4..which entirely blows my 5 out of the water.. So if I just give it a 4 it's better.. cause then it can only go up..right? I think Cobalt and I had this discussion a long time ago and he was right..

it doesn't blow it out of the water. if you hadn't voted, they would have the 4 the other person gave them. but because you voted 5, they now have 4.5. it's just an average. it doesn't make your vote irrelevant.

Here's what confuses me....
In the premium section, the order of the stars is reversed --- 1 is at the top and 5 at the bottom (in the general section it's the opposite). Click too quick in the premium section and you could wind up dropping a 1 on a poem that you thought was a 5. Not good.
(By the way... I did PM Mick and ask if he could reverse the order in the premium section so that it mirrored the general section --- I believe he does have this on his list of to-be-made site modifications, so I guess I'm just venting here...

Voting would be better suited to rating commentaries, than poems themselves, m'thinks.
And I do think the order of the premium vote is a bit out.
