Suggestion
Since there are so many arguments going on in the forums, Why not make a fight room just for that purpose...It works very well in other sites, maybe that is what this one needs...Thanks for listening.

wouldn't work. the fights that break out here break out because someone offends someone, not because they mean to (at least not most of the time) but just because some people can't handle someone thinking differently than themselves. so they argue. and more people get involved. and it gets ugly. so yeah. wouldn't work.

On another site I go to there is a forum called: Debate, Debate, Debate, Argue! It is for controversial issues like polotics and religion.

see, that would make more sense. then people could just avoid those topics altogether if they didn't want to see it.

Ok no need to offend anyone on this but, why couldn't they just accept someone else's opinion and shut there trap for once. I know im new here so I don't actually know some of you, but if you don't like to argue or the forum they don't comment on it.

Oh it requires a lot more than that;

*Treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (some of us just can't help ourselves and get involved in spite of wiser notions. heh)
*Abandoning the impulse to change/save/punish the world.
* For some, it's impossible because they really get off on the anger of others and that is the intent. No way to change that. At least not until they get a real life.
* Treatment for foot in mouth disease
* Treatment for the desire for revenge.
Hey if we can't even manage a peaceful forum conversation, is there any wonder the world is in the muddle it's in? Don't kid yourself. No matter where you live or what your life is like, around you are the battling impulses and motivations of opposing human beings.

I still think that a fight room will work, I have belonged to a group for 3 yrs now and it works very well. If someone wants to argue tell them to take it to the fight room and in there any thing goes...Then ignore the person ...If he really wants to argue bad enough he or she will go to the fight room...Oh well, just a suggestion, Have a nice day everyone and Happy Holidays.
