Last Spring.

TODAY I WENT OUT ON A BUS RIDE IN THE COUNTRYSIDE.

I WENT OUT WITH MY EYES UNBLINKERED.

SEEING THINGS IN A DIFFERANT LIGHT.

THE BEAUTY OF GODS GIFT TO US ALL.

THE SPRING LAMBS PRANCING IN THE FIELDS STAYING CLOSE TO THE SHEEP.

THE GREAT SCENERY WITH THE DIFFERANT SHADES OF GREEN AND YELLOW IN THE FIELDS

IT WAS AS THOUGH I WAS SEEING THIS ALL FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME.

TODAY WAS DIFFERANT, I SAW ALL THIS IN A DIFFERANT LIGHT.

MY EYES WERE OPEN i SMELLED THE FRAGRANCE OF THE FLOWERS

i EVEN SAID HELLO TO STRANGERS I MET ON THE WAY.

I FELT SO ALIVE. THE SUN WAS SHINING, I FELT GREAT.

I HAD BEEN TO SKIPTON MANY TIMES.

TODAY WAS DIFFERANT, I WAS ADMIRING GODS CREATION

TOO OFTEN WE TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED.

TOO OFTEN WE GO AROUND WITH BLINKERS ON.

TOO OFTEN WE ARE SO BLIND TO WHAT WE SEE IN FRONT OF US ON A DAILY BASIS.

TOO OFTEN WE FORGET TO THANK GOD FOR WHAT WE HAVE FOR FREE.

WE ARE SO LUCKY, MANY PEOPLE DO NOT GET CHANCE TO SEE WHAT WE DO.

SOME PEOPLE HAVE NOT GOT WHAT WE TAKE FOR GRANTED. RUNNING WATER

IS A LUXERY FOR SOME. GOOD FRESH FOOD COMING FROM THE FERTILE SOIL.

NEXT TIME YOU GO OUT PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES

TAKE OF THE BLINKERS, AND VIEW WHAT THE LORD HAS PROVIDED

Its So Important to tell those you care about

~~~~~~~~~ YOU LOVE THEM~~~~~~~~~~~~
NOW TODAY!
TOMORROW COULD BE TOO LATE.
God Bless You
Doug :-)
Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
