S Word, The

Contributed by Mick_Puttock on Thursday, 30th January 2003 @ 04:10:59 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

Talking about the "S" word
that is very regularly heard
it's something we all enjoy
all the girls and all the boys

A nightly occurance some would say
others more than once a day
some may do it on their own
and others with someone known

Some say it's good, and some say it's bad
some say it's crazy, now are they just sad
some may have troubles with the big "S"
to others come quick, with little distress

some may do it during the night
others when its a little more bright
most of us try to make it to bed
others well, anywhere instead

some may get dressed in their gowns
others, well may just look like clowns
many just really don't care
making sure that they just get theirs

me, I prefer it with little light
and for 6 to 8 hours every night
I may have a break during this time
.
.
.
.
.
the "S" word is SLEEP, for this little rhyme!

Hehe..I like doing it on the beach,
below a coconut tree...
with the breeze blowing on my skin.....
With my 'next of kin'...

Great poem, Mick..
Hugs
Jen..
