They come when you least expect them
The nightmares from past years,.
The hurt, The pain, the tears.
1966 worst year of my life
Was raped by a supposed friend
Pregnant!. she then became my wife.
My life plans stole from me no end.
14 years it lasted , 3 sons produced
I finally escaped the manipulative abuse.
I brought up my 3 sons so much alone
At least I did my best a long way from home

Doug, you may be a bit of a nut but you are NOT damaged goods. I'm sure you've struggled in your life but you're still here. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, yeah? I believe you have done the best you could with what life has thrown at you and no one can ask more than that. Stay strong my friend.
