She Wrote By Moonlight

Contributed by neptunes_first on Thursday, 10th March 2005 @ 08:16:51 AM in AEST
Topic: Mystical

She wrote by moonlight,
devotion dictating her words.
illumined as a comet's flare.

She wrote by moonlight,
in quiet, halted only
by the white owl's hoot.

Even the letters grew up,
their purpose shining on the page

Silver wrote,
having taken this princess
for its own quill-

The stars focussed, aligned for her
morning to release its child,
bloodied and glorious
in its blazing cries.

And while she was entranced,
the flowers opened,
and there was no inifinity,
but for colour and song.

I... adore this.

Neptune... from where I'm sitting... this is very nearly everything.

How wonderfully, wonderfully written! You really knock me over sometimes and this... this.... leaves me practically shaking.

So very, very glad I came here...
