Blood Drenched Roses

Contributed by Baburu on Thursday, 9th December 2004 @ 10:58:09 PM in AEST
Topic: Dark

Blood drenched roses just for M’Lady
An expression of our dark love
Grown in my personal abbey
Drenched in my own blood
Such an expression cannot be measured
In the ways of mortal man
For her love I have hungered
From London to Cheyenne
There is no one else who is like her
And no other flower such as this
An ominous gesture for my lover
Let us live forever in dark bliss

well what brought me to this poem was the title and the category. i would say your ending was the best of this piece. the rhymes werent forced, and i like how the poem doesnt focus on the format, but on the concept.
