To My Soul Mate

Contributed by ilhar on Friday, 28th May 2004 @ 03:02:43 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveorRomantic

Lightly in the hours between dusk and dawn
I lay in bed with the shades drawn
Not asleep but not fully awake
Letting my heart a plea to you make

Sending out my loving heart
This life we may always be apart
One morning I would love to rise
And find you next to me my surprise

But we have yet to even meet
And our eyes have not had the treat
To glance upon each others soul
And feel the love our spirit knows

So I just feel you are out there
And send my love let you know I care
For our hearts someplace sometime
Will join together and entwine

And it will be as it is meant
The love that could only be heaven sent
I wait through eternity
For you to be here beside me
