i won't let go

Contributed by Cancer on Wednesday, 4th February 2004 @ 04:37:23 PM in AEST
Topic: eroticpoetry

she spread her wings
as if to soar
then spread her legs
always the whore
and with her final breath, she begged
"become me, devour me"

and i went down
on her decay
i was drug down
and swept away
by waves of hips
that bucked and swayed
drowning in dead ecstasy

kissing her lips
as they turn blue
the smell of rot
no longer new
preserved so well
her flaws so few
we make love
for an hour or two

i place a rose
between her breasts
from dawn to dusk
i let her rest
return once more
once the sun sets
to reclaim her
from her lover, Death

her flesh still soft
yet oh so cold
three years past
her crevice cultivates mold
those waves of hips
still grasp their hold
over a mind
that can't let go

over my mind
i won't let go

Its beautifully written. and yes, in the beginning of your write, does have that casual appearence of the eroticness. But still said nicely in the way you have potrayed this. Just because your poem was moved here, does not indicate this is a bad site. There are many wonderful writes here on the special site. Just that some youngsters should not behold thier eyes to thier minds of some of the words and content, even if so beautifully written. So your write is just fine, and done well.

No, I don't think that this was a "special section" write. Very good poem.

wow, love it. the whole concept of death really sets this poem apart. this should be in the normal section, there is no reason why it shouldnt be. good write, keep it up!

Of course, Necrophilia wouldn't be allowed in the kiddies video section, so I'm sure the mods were right to remove it.

Never read a necrophilia poem before, and I must honestly say i'm unsurprised by the fact that you wrote it. Its at once disgusting and . . . dare I say - beautful? Is that possible?

I'm confused, repulsed, inspired and amused all at once.

Excellently written, without moderation.

Oh, and the special section is special because we get 6 posts..not because it's erotic. Of course we can dare to be naughty if we want to..but no one forces it upon us.
Some of my best work is back here and nobody reads it.. Of course...it's the season to be busy. or jolly, but jolly is my last name and nobody wants to be that.
