I remember when you and I just looked at each other,
Barely said a single word.
I thought you were quiet, you thought that I was loud,
We never really listened to each other, never really heard.

We soon became closer, but we never really knew,
That out of a smile would come of some good.
We looked at each other as perfect,
But instead we were both misunderstood.

We called each other friends,
But we never really had an effect.
We talked when we needed to,
And only gave respect.

Life moved on, and we became closer,
All we thought was whatever.
But only God knew,
The 2 of us would last forever.

We became best friends
I’ll love you forever, more than today.
Jess, you’re my better half,
Love Always,
