Robert's Poem: December Flame

Contributed by darkkai on Tuesday, 31st December 2002 @ 06:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I don't have all the answers to every question,

thrown in the mix is emotions that we can't

explain. Schemes develop and we see the

outcome. A future to decide later is better

than now. still images floats in my mind, I

grin. Down inside me soul is the bleeding

heart of a hurt poet. half-baked and hearted,

da brain is fresh. I defused what you can't

comprehend. Scared is what i sense.

Antipathy lingers. can you run to me?

Denude your feelings for me. show what

I yern to see. Excellent dispositons are what

I offer to your soul. a past failure can be

redeemed, let me try to succeed. In time

delight your senses with me, and relive a

past that we can catch up to. know that I hurt

feel, and live. Take it as it comes.

Blanks stares become from the depths of

darkness A mind runs wild in the

hallucinating lights of the city. Deep down

I'm empty with a plastick smile, bloated to the

facts that reality used to be a friend of mine.

Inside this human suit is my heart, burning

like wild fire. January ambers have

scarlett beauty. Tongue twisted to the point

of loud silence, the butterflies quake

inside me like mutated vermin. I was hoping

I had nothing to gain and somethng to loose.

I forget what my life is like, do I need to be

this way? Under the wake of enough lust to

take on the world, I want to taste your lips,

touch your trembleing hand, to feel your body,

Alas I can not, I lost my mind, only to gain

another far from a mile. Blinded by confusion

and cautious trust I wander hoping for a sign

or light. The good things are made up in

time, going on minute by minute. This

moment is all my own, I'm ready to be with

you now and forever.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
