The pain of body and mind

Contributed by Marc on Monday, 9th December 2002 @ 04:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

It reflects the light
as i bring it to my wrist
alive with fright
i drive it into my skin

my mind screams
all to a blur
thoughts from a dream
i wish never to incur

redness everywhere
life fading fast
can't control it
I know i can't last

blade to the floor
wrist to the sink
closing the door
i can't even think

Marc, I felt those feelings many, many years ago. I think you did an excellent job on this poem.
