“No One Else For Me, But You” - by J. Samuelson Copyright©2001 03/05
I don’t know what to say anymore
I’ve said it time and again before
I love you, but what can I do?
I know I just need to see you.
I hate it here, not holding you
I miss your touch, I need that too
To feel your body close to me
I know it would feel perfectly.
1,000 tears, I’ll cry tonight
The sadness is still gripping tight
The missing you, the feeling down
It’s killing me, from inside out.
I’m losing it, can’t keep control
Emotions dripping, overflow
Burning eyes, and wounded heart
I feel my senses, fall apart.
Nothing matters, only you
It’s all I ever think or do
I need you here so desperately
I wish I knew, if it could be.
Why does this have to take so long?
To find out if us two belong
I know for sure, you’re it for me
And I’m for you, it has to be.
It’s perfect, how I thought it’d be
We’re meant to spend eternity
The love is strong, and always here
Just let me feel it, without fear.
I’m afraid you may not wait around
That’s why I need to see you now
To show you how my love for you
Is all you need, and how it’s true.
The way that I can make you smile
And comfort you through every mile
And be here filled with love inside
To hold you if you ever cried.
To be the one, you can count on
The shoulder, to put your head upon
I’ll understand you every day
Just be with me, is all I pray.
I’m waiting here, ‘cause I want to
No One Else For Me, But You
I promise every word is true
No One Else For Me, But You.
