Like Never Again

Slam the door behind, Leave the world alone, Shut the thoughts away, Push aside sanity, Chase away the mem'ry, Throw away the past, Of the black phase, Of moments tasted, Made of pure vanity.
Tell me somebody, What boils down to this? A heartbeat of a heartbreak, Rising pressure of blood-rush, A breath of betrayal; breathed, That saps my strength away, Only nothingness gained.
Tell me, When did the Earth stop spinning? When has the walkers of life, Resort to become traitors, And lose their power of calm? Now that waves are out of control, Not within any capacity, To bring its rage to an end.
Shouldn't have laid my trust, I only had it coming.
And now, Not a hand to be seen, Not a comfort to be heard, Not a seed of joy to be sowed, Not a ray of light to be shone.
It is now like, Living in Nothingville, As if stars have fallen, Like a fallen angel, And the moon ends its rise, And the sun shines darkness, Like nothing will be changed,
No, Never...
Like never again...

I'm glad you have been able to express your sadness in this way Ronald and hopefully now to move on. This is a profound and moving piece of work.
Take care
