Array ( [sid] => 187033 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Black lives matter, TOO! [time] => 2020-06-16 10:28:36 [hometext] => I know this work may upset some people and if it does I ask you please, sit back for a couple of minutes and think about why you are upset. I am not trying to offend anyone, I am trying to bring everyone together. [bodytext] => Why is it that when we say,
Black lives matter it offends some way?
So, I/'/ll try to explain this today,
For those who feel that they are the prey!

To put it in a way you understand.
All lives matter, black, white, and tan.
But Black lives Matter at this point in time,
Cause hatred is hurting them, mothers are crying.

I know your white life and mine too,
Are part of this world so we must do,
Whatever we can to stop this foul hate,
We/'/re doing to little and doing it to late

Us whites are not being choked to death.
White kids are not being slammed on their heads,
We don/'/t have the fear of that policeman ahead,
But others have all this as their everyday bread.

Imagine if you will right now,
We get a huge thunder storm.
It rips some tiles of your house,
so you call tiler Norm.

You tell Norm you need ten tiles replaced,
But Norm just sighs at you,
then tells you the lot must be fixed,
Cause all tiles matter to.

Imagine if you will right now,
You just gone and broke your leg,
You call and ask me to help,
But I say this instead.

I/'/m sorry my friend for all your pain,
And for your sore, broken leg,
But I cant help you for this reason you see,
No matter how much you plead and beg.

For in this world we mustn/'/t think of the few,
With broken legs yea just like you.
For all legs they do matter to me,.
Not just the broken! Help is not free!,

Its not that hard for you to use your brain,
And if you do you may just gain,
An understanding of the suffering and pain,
That other have now as they die in a drain.

So think with your head and not your hate,
You can change your ways its not to late.
Then maybe we can stand up as one,
And make sure this racism is finally done!

Labeling causes division.
We are all humans. All lives matter.
