5 witches in a circle sat before they went to sleep.
Their mother took a box of stones, and each chose one to keep.
“One stone” she said “is magic, the owner will be rich”.
“Tell me why you chose your stone and what you’ll do with it”.

“I love mine for the color! I’m sure it must be gold!”
“I’ll wear mine as a necklace, so lovely to behold.”
“My stone was made for music! listen to it ring!”
“Mine makes sparks, so in the dark, I can see all things. “

The last stone to the youngest went. -- No choice at all had she!
T’was no more than a pebble. What good could it be ?
Inside her back pant pocket she placed it straight away.
Because of it, she couldn’t sit, and so she worked all day.

While her sisters lolled about, she started a dot com.
Published two best sellers and wed the prince from town.
She’s up for nomination as Woman of the Year,
and QVC is licensing her line of underwear.

If you suspect your sister’s out to make a fool of you,
check her pockets every night for a stone or two.
Pocket stones, if left alone, turn sisters into jocks.
But symptoms fade the very day that stones are kept in socks.
