[bodytext] => this human body is broken, betrayed and I wonder what I did to make this my fate all this heavy weight how it suffocates what do you know about pain? you’ve been handed grace and it keeps me stuck in a place I hate I have no control of this I am powerless in sterile rooms I followed the dots on the floor taking tests I can’t study for and I’m failing ask the universe for answers fear infects me like a cancer cold waiting rooms this lifeless body gets violated ‘til I’m burning and bleeding then I just go home where I’m all alone going through motions as days fade into the next over and again I keep waking up in a place I hate and there’s nothing I can do we are powerless and nothing blooms the sun will rise and set once more over the same old barren floors I’m just staring at calendars that remind me of every scheduled heartbreak the stomach ache this useless body betrays me life stays the same I just wait in quiet rooms we are left without as hope fades out in sterile rooms [comments] => 0 [counter] => 41 [topic] => 75 [informant] => MoonlitAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )
