Dark perception interview
Shiny past glimpse of you
Another joyful glimmer too

Thousand words but no tongue
Legacies that risk undone
What/'/d say you, what/'/d think you now?
The thought of an end somehow

Doesn/'/t matter whose hand or what fate decreed
You were simply taken from me
Someone lost or someone freed?
But in the end who/'/s suffering?

There/'/s no answers to a loss of life
Just another battle with strife
Not narcissistic yet angry
Of so many potentials left unseen

One more wound hidden /'/neath skin
Another grimace disguised /'/hind grin
Unintentional patience worn thin
Balance of mood, a struggle to win

No matter where you are or where you have gone
I pray it not in effort to abscond
I hope in your new home you remember me
/'/Cause God knows I/'/ll remember you/

I know how it feels to lose grandparents. I cant even imagine losing them before I even got to know them. Such a great remembrance.

Your poem is very emotional, I can relate to this. My father died when I was 17, I still remember him and his words to me before he died. Just like you will remember your relationship with your Grandfather. The memories will be with you for the rest of your life. This is a very good write and I could relate to it very well.
