but then it is back
to standing in line
blinded by this reality

A fear of falling asleep
cracks my head in time
I am no longer observing situations
now I am standing in line
just a number
my routines defined
ticking clocks and automation
keeps the assimilation in motion
we will all be confined

me I disconnect
for short moments at a time
though I am mentally twisted
in those moments
I can see the matrix fine
but then it is back
to standing in line

"we will all be confined" ⬅️ That line really resonates with me. If you believe the alien conspiracy theorists, we will all be mind controlled, by 2029 I think. There will be no borders, one leader of the world, no money as we know it and there will be no caring or empathy.

Comes off robotic to me and I myself really like this write. Not your norm but a great poem that can be construed many ways. Nice indeed!
