I willingly gave you the key
on Buffalo River on that hot August day,
there/'/s something about you that no
other had,
you were hotter than the fourth of July, that
didn/'/t exactly do it for me,
its when you didn/'/t want to leave Arkansas without touching
base with me.

We tripped in and out of each others lives,
we both know we/'/ve lived every page,
life lives and life rolls by.
Still I see no one but you.

You restore my confidence within myself
and soared with me,
never no questions asked.
Still when together,
we rock and roll,
no slow dance for me,
but oh slow dancing is here to stay
in between.

You describe relationships so many of us have known. Wonderful, but not lasting.
A lover without a leash. All highs, no lows.
Oh to have the best of it, without the need to commit! I like the analogy to the dance, because dance partners move in opposing directions, and that is a very accurate description.
One day something less fiery an more lasting will look good to you...but while you can, by all means, go fo it! softerware

Aww...such a beautiful expression of love and caring! It is always nice to hear of this kind of reflection.
The world doesn/'/t have enough love in it these days so any boost is a godsend.
It was also kind of relatable as I live in Arkansas. Don/'/t have anyone I could ask about leaving but it still touched home.
May you always have your Arkansas "jungle love" in every minute of your day!

Nice, Emy! I/'/m sure your Tarzan is swinging towards you now. He may be delayed on account of some missing trees in his path that were felled by fools but he/'/d surely get around it as soon as he finds a sturdy vine :). Cheers!
