We can`t deny
We are who we are
No matter the scars
We`ve come too far to give up who we are
What we once held dear
Has slowly disappeared
Nothing new under the sun and stars
Whether losing or winning

What a wonderful reminder that we own ourselves, and at some point, we have to make peace with where we are.
You have given us permission to accept ourselves. That is not always the case.
The last line is a turn of the phrase that closes by underscoring that our past is responsible for our destination.
Getting comfortable in our own skin is a skillset better suited to age, when our options are not so varied and available! In youth we still have unwritten futures to play with! I like this James.
Both the message and the write are in tune with one another! The voice of experience speaks!!!
