What You Wrote

Contributed by jamesstockdale on Friday, 25th January 2019 @ 07:00:49 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I can no longer read
What you wrote
Cause for me there ain`t no antidote
Your words tore me to the core
So bad I can`t read them no more
Torn from scorn
Wish I was never born
All love lost
Nothing left to adorn
I`m all out of hope
Lost all faith
Just trying to cope
To save myself from
Hanging by a rope
This is how I feel
Unlike you
All I wrote was real

James, I love you, man. Your pain is tearing me up. if I had the words, as if words were medicine, I would spend days trying to create an /'/antidote/'/, as you put it.

My heart aches for your pain. Keep writing. Sometimes, that is the only medicine that works.

Your friend,

Mike

A heartbreaking poem that I hope has brought you some measure of relief by sharing with us.
You are a teacher, and many will find ways to cope knowing they are not alone. Few can read your poems and not find themselves somewhere in your words.
There is purpose to sharing grief, and it is to heal others. Thank you for your candor.

This one cut me "to the core" too. I/'/ve been on both ends of similar situations; I/'/m glad I got the experience young so I was better prepared for the future. If you haven/'/t already, delete that message or rip up that letter. It/'/ll be the first step in setting you free. God bless you and may the Lord wrap His arms around you with His comfort,

Deidra

Although you have taken out your inside out, it does take a lion/'/s heart to bear such toughness of life and still manage to speak aloud!

There are very few with such sturdiness!

Sure many will see themselves in this so true mirror that you have erected!

And it`s people like that that makes it hard for me to trust anyone.

Very sad, written with lots of emotion!

Well, we YPDCers are very glad you were born!

Keepa writin`!
