Free from being

Being
a human being

Persecuted
Humiliated
dragged
though the internet
Abused
laughed at
for connecting the dots
on why
people are leaving
their children/'/s future
to rot
while we
the few
within the tribes of the many
try to convert
those who believe

The world is a crazy and mixed up place, it has been and always will be.
Everyone has their beliefs and ideals, yet sadly they don/'/t always suit those of others.
It should not matter what we believe in, yet all too often it is the cause of war and persecution

We are not content to live as individuals. We want connection. Yet, as you point out, we are all so very unique, it is difficult to find common ground WITHIN THE TRIBES OF THE MANY.
It is a waste our time trying to convert others to suit us. By the time most of us figure that out, it no longer matters to us. How ironic.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
