He met her in a bar; this would-be movie star.
She was loose and he seduced; they drove home in his car.
She was too good to be true; He ignored what he knew.
It doesnt pay to pick up strays; and bring them home with you!
He slept next day too long; The drug must have been strong!
He simply stared; his place was bare; and all he owned was gone!
He was ripe to pluck; her friends came with a truck;
They took their time to steal him blind; right down to his last buck.
They caught her in the end; seducing his good friend;
A jail cell, now keeps her well; From what the girl intends.

This is sad, but maybe both people can learn from this experience. Your friend might have learned to be more careful, and the thief might have learned that it/'/s best not to steal.. This is a great poem. Well written. Keep up the good work.. |

It/'/s amazing the devious depths some people will stoop to.
The only benefit to this tale is that justice was served in the end.
Man/'/s inhumanity to man never ceases to amaze me!!

Ah, memories, that girl that got away
with everything I had.
She stole from me everything,
my heart, left hollow.
I got rolled. That/'/s how I felt in third grade.
When she moved on to another town.
She took all my pencils, and crayons too.
After that I sat in the back of the class.
I was so ripe, she had red curly hair,
that little red haired girl.
Charles Schultz, otherwise known as C note, aka, one hundred dollar bill Charlie.
Peace! |

just kidding of course. sorry about your friend.
We bald guys in our late fifties approaching sixty,
and some of those past sixty sit together telling
stories, you know like we did before back when we were spry, I/'/m not yet completely bald though, I keep in shape,
secretly thinking, wait... I am married, my wife would
get really mad, everything, all that we had and for what,
I can just imagine her saying that... her seven years younger than me. Is that what you want, her, the executive
who works late at night with her laptop well into the wee hours... Where the hell is my laptop! she would say,
that was company property, you jerk off,
you bald jerk off! And then my daughter, hearing all of this. Oh mom, don/'/t you know by now, that/'/s what all
old bald old guys want.
Yes those discussions do go on between us old bald guys... we weigh this all in, maybe my friend Peter says,
if I was already stuck in an old folks home, what harm could it cause. What, what, she steals the bedpan,
by then, what the heck who cares.
Peter/'/s an idiot. Several failed marriages will do that to a guy. Bless his soul!
Peace! |
