[bodytext] => My son joined the US Navy Because of the sausage and gravy. In the Army it's called SOS It made my waistline wavy. I like corn bread with butter and honey. To make it you really need some money. I don't have any so I eat rye bread. With milk and sugar it keeps me fed. I’m a bird dog from the Florida sticks. In super markets I find hens and chicks. I stand and point till the basket comes. But I get strange looks from everyone. The money is short so I gather stones, And lizard eggs right outside my home. One of the eggs had a rattlesnake, But it tasted good in my stone soup bake. Sausage and biscuits are a treasured dream. I’d rejoin the Army but I’m way too mean. I put raisins in milk toast and close my eyes. Holding my nose for a sausage gravy surprise. Whether Army or Navy I just want to say, Sausage Gravy or SOS Are great either way.
