It’s that one special day a year.
It seems like just yesterday,
but now, again, it’s here.

It’s a day to reflect
on the year that has passed.
It seems to go by so slow,
then again, pretty fast.

I don’t know exactly
what this day means to you.
It’s another celebration
to start everything over new.

It’s just another year
you can say you’ve been alive.
Just think, in a few weeks,
you can LEGALLY drive.

You’ve been through a lot,
some things good, some bad.
Either way they’ll be packed away
into the memories you have.

So blow out your candles
and make a wish.
It’s now again time

Happy birthday to you.
It’s that one special day a year.
It seems like just yesterday,
but now, again, it’s here.

It’s a day to reflect
on the year that has passed.

Awe this is too cute for words and so special.. I say frame it, so you will always have that..if you write him poems every birthday you should frame them....it could be that special thing you do..
But great poem.
