it was me who ran for cover

a world of storms

Great write. Been through a few storms myself. Loved this part "walked among the fires where i was trampled under ashes and spat at for my dirty face" Very powerful. Thanks for sharing. Peace, Laura

I truly love this poem! A sophisticated and subtle piece that has a number of interpretations - what motivated you to write this one, I wonder? Are you Mother earth or a survivor of a bad relationship, lesson learned? Some other meaning perhaps?

On any level, I thoroughly enjoyed this one, still "wowing" as I write this comment. A 5/5

Spike
