Array ( [sid] => 9965 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Torn Apart [time] => 2003-01-08 04:40:00 [hometext] => * I wrote this a while ago and thought i would post it. I dont like it as much as my new ones, but hopefully some of you will like it. So yeah hope u all enjoy it thanx to everyone who reads this and comments your comments mean a lot to me...* [bodytext] => I'm here all torn apart
Standing in pieces of my heart
Its like a jigsaw puzzle,
But no one knows what its supposed to look like
I keep my lighter burning
So I won't die in this suffocating darkness

My heart is blowing away
By this bitter wind
And I've almost given up
Holding on to this one last piece
Its my last lifeline all I survive on
And you, you smile at my feeble attempts to survive

Why do I strive for those few
Moments of happiness
When its surrounded by pain and frustration
Life is so pointless
Just 80 years of pain and s***
One setback always leads to another

I feel like I've gone through hell and back
God has left me to cry in the mud,
But still, but still
I CAN'T curse him and die
My skin hangs loosely from my bones
Oh, what a wretch am I

And I'm here all torn apart
Standing in pieces of my heart
Can someone slip me some cyanide
So I won't have to face the jury
I'm like a broken doll and,
The tears are forming, like precious jewels [comments] => 9 [counter] => 213 [topic] => 6 [informant] => bobotheclown [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )
