Most people don't annoy you
But you just can't resist
One a fat chick the other an anorexic a stick
One ate the cast stone
The other barely making a prick

As the words twist around in your mouth
I get this tangled sensation that opens up
A world within my fury that knows no bounds

The poles are equidistant
From the central tendency of the width
Passengers constantly ride to the exit
Two pretty girls meet
And they kiss
Off to do and catch a dinner
Something light and fulfilled
Something to win her over

And then this gift was given to me
As I knew it right there and then
This meaningful place suddenly
Felt alive again, aging possibly
Just go along, let's pretend

People are strange
Relative to you and me
There are no defined characteristics
Which define being
A functioning adult human being
Capable of rationalizing
Exactly what the hell she means
Rather like children
People gratify themselves
People love themselves
And so it should be
People care in between

I made the mistake of contacting the dead
The can of worms I always dread
Opened and splashed on my face
With harmful parasites leeching to my skin
I let the tear drop
I let the weakness set in

I made the mistake
Of thinking twice
Impulsively impolite
Genuinely out of sight
It is a part of me
Is the cause to do right
To be something I’m not
To lie in an honest write
To breath
Instead of rot
I made the mistake of believing
Or not
Having faith
I consider it a waste
I considered it a date
With destiny
I hesitate
I consider this my fate
I hope to God I'm not too late

Yet again, your storytelling skills blow me away..!! Into a single write you can weave several stories into one, and it's always a creative pleasure reading your thoughts...I also love the way your writes have such a rhythmic flow whether you choose to rhyme, or not...or do a bit of both, such as this. You're one of many poets on here that inspire me to reach greater heights, and I thank you for that. I can also always count on you to teach me a new word or two....: )
"Equidistant"...so simple in meaning, yet I don't recall ever hearing the word...lol

I also.. learned a word or two here..
as always..your thoughts on "things"
have left me befuddled..

just when people think they've got life all figured out...
here you come to scramble the hell out of it!

I am amazed at how well informed you are
on the simplest things..

incredible..
