There was despair behind your clouded eyes
when it looked like joy.
It seemed as though they were glistening,
but your face was just a mirror.
But now from heaven, where you sleep,
disdain comes raining down,
reaching deep beneath the earth
to your empty grave.
A piece of my tender hope
lies within your tomb.

Wow! A very moving poem. I've lost quite a few friends to suicide as well, and I'm sad to say I almost gave up once. I'm very sorry that you lost your friend, and I'm sure you miss her very much. I hope things get better from here on out for you. Feel free to PM me if ever you need to. Great write!
