I offended someone today
Someone peaceful
I hurt his feelings
In this horrible way
I said something
I never should have said
And now I’m wondering
If he will wind up dead
Or beaten up, over himself
Acute brain delay
I apologized
But he just walked away
I didn’t blame him
Who was I to say

Here is to them

I acted aloof
In the moment
The crook
Asked to see my watch
A ski mask on
A tattooed arm
I had skin for a clock
I asked for help
A peaceful resolve
I asked that chamber
To please jam, not revolve
Who knew once an ape
Could ever evolve
What ever escaped
From the dormitory of hell
Has arrived

Here is to me

The last chapter is for me
Alone
The final efficacy
A self fulfilling prophesy
Destined to help smiles
Take form in shapes
In colorful rainbows
I hold doors for the neighbor
And am satisfied with no hello
I let them pass as they fly by
Freeway to work
To sit in their cubicle
Missing the tree passing by so beautiful
I give them my laugh
When they don’t deserve it
No, I think I held my own
Paid my dues
As a human goes
Daily triumphs are all I look for
Daily pursuit
Of heaven door
I sense promise in-store

Nice format; very well done...I love the concept. I'm sure there's plenty of great things in store for such a kind person : )
