[bodytext] => Take down the Ten Commandments,That someone placed there, Take it down and turn around and never remember that it was there, Take it down and smile that pretty smile upon your face, Walk down the street, While thinking that this is something you had erased. You can take God out of prayer, Or maybe our money some day, You can say take the Ten commandments away, You can hold your head up high, and never bow your head, But one day my friend. You will end up dead. When you come before the God that you said you didn't want any part of, When you look into his eyes and say He is never the one you was proud of, When you say hey man I really don't give a crap, Then remember these words here my friend. And hope your face feels a slap. He still loves you, Never has left your side, Your the one that has nothing to do with him, Maybe you just want to hide. Maybe your mad at him because you blame Him for all your strife, Maybe you want to commit suicide, OR maybe you cut yourself all the time with a knife. HE LOVES YOU, Give him a chance, Stop what your doing, When He looks below and sees you, Or hears the words you say, When you turn away from Him, This is what he still says. HE LOVES YOU, When you blame him for all your troubles, When you think he gave you pain, When you feel it in your heart and then still turn away. He loves you. So take away the ten commandments or whatever religion tool, You won't really take away his rules, his ways, his love You may be able to take away what He symbolizes, But He will always want to walk by yourside.
