Pushed to grow up, do what I’m told.
Always told to be strong.
But how can I be strong when I feel so weak, and no ones there to lean on?

Being so young I feel so old.
Pushed to be responsible, do what I’m told.
Always told to follow my heart.
But what if my hearts not leading?

Being so young, I feel so old.
Pushed to learn life’s lessons quickly, do what I’m told.
Always told to listen to both sides of the story.
But what if there’s only one side?

Being so young, I feel so old.
Pushed to grow up, oh how can this be?
How could adults do this to me?
My childhood gone, I feel so much pain.
Life’s lessons learned so quickly, now there’s no point to life.
It’s amazing how fast your childhood can go by.
