trust in love forever defaced
Seven year itch came and went
emotions churning, starting to ferment

Dying slowly...Me
suddenly lonely; yet free!
Bitterness makes one turn within
with this new life, where do I begin?

Sun shining...penetrating rays
step into the future with no delays
Won't look back----not even once

What a strongly positive piece! It's amazing the kind of things that one can write when looking on the bright side of things, i wish more people wrote about things like this. It was really a sight to see. I like the format of the poem as well, and the rhymes were truly captivating as well. Impressive piece of work here Scorp! Bravo!

Very well written Scorp. Powerfully strong with heartfelt commitment. Love the strong & emotionally positive words "Won't look back----not even once - ready to deal with whatever confronts." Great job! :)
