as we trust this hollow night
her cheap perfume degrades my senses
just give me what i need

pulling, pushing ripping off
a piece of you to ravage
angles cut and tangled
as we find
expression for our
decay

she grips my veins
and we share fluids
as our twisted bodies
find release

free we are now
and sinking fast
reminded how long
loves embrace lasts

and we cast
our forsaken souls
through endless marred city streets
over mother earths hardened face

I loved her so much
didnt know how much she could take

and at the midnight hour
the streets dissapear
and im suprised
im still here

My death wish was
never refused
My eyes have never aged
but my dried tears
mask the abuse
a child is drowned
as i watch it come down
and noones coming to watch
only a petrified soul
cracking up
and blowing off

Dear lost soul,

there is nothing death takes apart
that life cant put together
you write these lines, you call it art
and to life it seems your tether
in stormy weather
raging in your heart
concealed in dark-
cutting softer than a feather.
yet blades of lust are still so sharp
attractive as they be
if only you could see
that lifes been won, (and not in part)
by God the Son.
your true lover? Hes the one.
listen, 'for you flee,
my word I give that He loves thee
more than you know.
so faithless is your plea,
for of His strength of love to show
to see, we all be slow.
yet this is reality:
He never leaves us,
nor forsakes us,
even when our mentality
is one of our mortality,
we strive for our vitality
obsessed with abnormality,
getting in a fuss.
it seems we never trust
that He is big enough
or that His love sees through
the things we say and write and do,
as we discuss whats true
we think He bluffs
not knowing that He always follows us.
His care is kind and most insatiable,
His patience everlasting and stable.
He has revealed all this to me,
and I relate to thee
in hope that you might see
and in time, believe
in He who sets us free
from all the rank debris
that cuts off our true peace and glee.
my word is that I know
that all of this is so.
so please my friend, release
your hurt to He whos plea
is that youd turn to Him
and exchange for Love's bright Light
your one thats dim.

Joshua
