Determined that he will not cry
For his boy must now go far
Off to fight a bloody war

He found the boy, alone, bereft
No home, no parents, nothing left
He knew at once what he must do
Adopt the boy, and start anew

He'd done it all before you see
With Lancelot, from out the sea
And now the boy must join that knight
To go to war and win the fight

"Goodbye my son, of you I'm proud
You stand out amongst the crowd
Tell Lancelot you're Merlin's son
His only brother, you ,the one"

Then together, you will go
Off to war to face your foe
But you will win and they will pay
You both will see a happier day
