Thoughts are flooding
coming every which way.
My mind is talking so fast.
Gonna keep writing....
and writing
while this inspiration lasts.
Comes on like a hurricane
blowing thoughts with gale force winds.
Fragments...
Particles...
Pieces... written down.
Whatever it may send.
Pencil moves with life of it's own.
Spilling out the words
the hurricane's thrown.
Distant voices speaking all at once to me
Their words become my own.

Laura, I like the flow and structure of this poem, as it reflects a inspirational experience. The analogy of a hurricane is really effective and appropriate.
Good job, my friend

My oh my you put this perfect
I feel what you mean
Our best writing come when we least expect it.
As for me it always comes when i'm trying to
go to sleep I guess thats when my mind is the most open
