After Life by Joe Belcher
Alone I wait in a darkened room
Waiting for the arrival of a passing thought
If only I could hold this vision
Grasping the edges gripping on tight
The never ending dream evades me
As I wake I find myself
Alone In a room without a light
This isn’t real, I cant be dead
What about life where does it reside
I hear no voice, I feel no more
My stiffened legs as hard as lead
It appears I’ve lost my only life
And now what is it that I am?
A lifeless entity with knowhere to go.
Rest In Peace, we’ll miss you Joe.
