Sometimes I feel like dying, but no killer comes
My twisted pain so entangled, it can not be undone
An empty shell, a body with no soul, all I feel is numb

For so long now it's been 1 step forward and 2 steps back
When will this cruel world cut me some slack
From the moment I entered, so many way's I'v been abused
I try and try again but it just keeps getting worse and I am so confused

Its so hard to make it through each day in a world that doesnt care
In a world that will not answer a very simple prayer
I know there's others out there, I know im not the only one
I try not to slip into self pity, but I cannot always be strong

This has been happening for so long, there's only so much one can take
Now I find myself fantasizing about the day i do not wake
I told myself that the next I was hurt would be the last, now the time has come
I see only one way to protect myself, I hope I have the courage to get it done

And now as sit on the bathroom floor
Stemming from my wrist, a puddle starts to form
I smile as I feel the tears start falling
And reach out when I finally hear the Reaper calling

woah...this is a powerful write this one.

Very emotive and full of angst.

I can very much relate to your dark wishful thinking. This world is a hard one to live in.

But great, heart wrenching write.

Hope to you dear poet.

I'm working on a poem with the same title.

I really liked the darkness of this write.

You potray the angst and helplessness well.

Well done.
