admiring the sadistic art
blood seeping from these lines
stealing life from my heart

laughter escapes my lips
air growing thin
mind beginning to darken
I'm dying within

losing grip
blade is falling
landing isn't heard
only death's calling

fading into sleep
neverending dream
no mind left to comprehend
no voice left to scream

alone ... drifting wordlessly
there's nothing I could say
all my guilty pleasures
took my life away [comments] => 7 [counter] => 199 [topic] => 72 [informant] => ruby_star_angel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => self-harmpoetry )

First of all, very good poem. I'm suprised no one has posted a comment up to this point. This poem is very emotional. Very nice. Good describtions. Overall I'd give it a 5 out of 5.

Don't let worldly things take you down. May your talents sing in the wind with the cheery birds of spring time.

-Bones
