the disgrace that plays upon her lost eyes..
The veins of darkness consumes her soul
searching for the truth; concealed by lies..

But still the angels don't hear her continuous pleas
through the drum line of the thunders melodies..
The rain hides her deprived flow of tears
the smile hiding what only her eyes can see..

Searching for the comforts of lost memories
through the photographs in her deadly grasp..
Her eyes closed searching for the numbness
only wishing this helplessness inside would pass..

Under a hallow tree she sits in loneliness
tracing the picture ; her fingers glide over her soul..
Her once blue eyes filled with happiness
thinking to herself " where did this angel go?"

Singing the soft melodies to herself over again..
"God why did I let myself down?please tell me..
Where did this angel in my photographs go?
why is it so hard for me to see?

I never meant to change this life ..no no
sitting hear alone ; the angels can't her my cries..
Pulling down these sleeves in nothing but disgrace..
waiting..hoping the time will soon come for me to die.."

Her fingers play over the edges of photographs
letting them slowly tear letting go of her dreams..
Her body growing numb inside ..alone
the tears showing her weakness falling apart at the seams..

Slowly standing in this dreaded reality
as she walks to the place she no longer belongs..
One pace at a time on this lonely road
to the place she hates to call her life her home..

Glancing back toward the hollowed tree..
concealing her past life her only forgotten dreams..
As the lightning strikes the cold murky night..
only to show the figure fading as me.. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 191 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Brandyx7 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
