These long and lonely years
Staring at the sky above
Crying out my tears

There you lie, a pile of bones
Nothing else of you
Dead outside your castle home
Wet amongst the dew

The wizard cast an awful spell
That brought me all these fears
You cannot be alive again
Without some dragon tears

What is that, just lying there?
I think it is the one
Please help me dragon, have a care
I know your time has come

Come cry with me my dragon
I really need your tears
And I will send you up to heaven
And take away your cares

Now I have my precious jewels
I give them to my love
Praying that new life it fuels
with guidance from above

Is this a miracle I see
As I look on the ground
My prince is looking back at me
New life for him is found

Your dragon tears have saved my love
We owe it all to you
May you be watching over us
Up in your sky so blue

And we will send our prayers today
To guide you, far and wide
Thank you once again we pray

Gwenevere you certainly have a way with words this is exquisite. To say any more would just distract from my feelings as I read this Masterpiece. Keep em coming from bernard.

It was nice, But I was confused at first. It took me about half the poem to acctually figure out what it was about. I was under the Impression that it was about the dragon himself. nice though.
