Very few will ever see, the

deepest part that lives in me,

some think they've known me

but its certainly not true,

they never touched my soul

as only rare few can do,

Oh, sure brief moments,

where some moment in time

their lives were near mine.

Yet those many who lay claim

to my friendship and my name,

have only scratched the surface

unless they too have lit the flame,

anyone of us can live idyllically

suggesting happy tranquillity.

Very few will ever see, the

This is thought-provoking and insightful, Nessa. Another great piece from you. "...unless they have lit the flame...": I like this line. A warning yet not a warning. Passion thrives in you, but carefully selective. Excellent
