I hate the look you have in your eyes

Why would a simple I be loved by someone as great as you?

I only wish it could be mended
but there are so many missing pieces
So much has been stolen

So please dont say I love you.
It only breaks my heart
and when my heart is broken

Looking past my heart
You may see my shattered soul
Shattered for so long now and never to be mended

I hate the look you have in your eyes
That one that says I love you
Why would a simple I be loved by someone as great as you?

I only wish it could be mended
but there are so many missing pieces
So much has been stolen

So please dont say I love you.
It only breaks my heart
and when my heart is broken
the shards pierce my shattered soul

So sad, lets me see where you are speaking from... i just hope in time you can mend your shattered soul, and eventually replace those missing pieces.
