"SUNCHIPS"

Petals grown on Sun's chip.....
A sequacious strong spaceship.
Ballerinas with green stems,
The wind waltzes golden gems

Sunflowers are fun flowers
Open petals welcomes greeters.
Brownish centers full faces.
Not prejudiced to any races.

A touch of the sun earthward
Speeds of warp windward.
An encouraging wee gold chip
Heart touching tiny starship.

Long legged beauties sophisticated.
Startling sunbonnets daunted.
A parade marching gracefully.
Created joy for man lovingly.

Ah, Sunflower, weary of time,
Who countest the steps of the sun;
Seeking after that sweet golden clime,
Where the traveler's journal done;
Where the youth pined away with desire,
And the pale virgin shrouded in snow,
Arise from their graves, and aspire
Where my Sunflower wishes to go!

- William Blake~
The Sunflower

by Van Gogh

What a beautiful write on one of the lovliest flowers that also nourishes. Nourishes the little birds, the sparrows and all those hungry little creatures.
Oh you have an extraordinary gift for extolling the manifold riches, be it flowers or critters to give delight.!
We had them - sunflowers - in my brother's garden. And the family around. Oh memory!
Beautiful ConSue!
Thankls for composing and sharing.
Warm love
Elizabeth
