Beating beside my withered lung
Will cease to beat tonight
Upon this wicked world I’ve hung

Simply too sad for words
Everything has lost its meaning
Praying for an holy end
Possessing a suicidal leaning

I gently caress the knife
Look down upon it with praise
For it does hold my final ending
My sought-after fateful craze

Skin begins to bleed its red
Vividly across my black clothes
Overflowing across my darkness
Until it meets my toes

Eyes become ice cold
As the blanket of fear is drawn
Not fearful of death but life
The happiness of which I mourn

Escape from despair
Living holds no elegance
Dying appears so tempting
Being consumed by its fragrance

My eyes begin to water
As I cry tears one by one
Then my eyes begin to blacken
From my eyeliner that does run

Oh how I do cry…

Wow, that was... somethin. Great write. I loved the imagery! I saw everything happening like a movie that played inside my head. I loved it dude. You have talent. Talent that I have only seen in few. Good job!
P.S: Feel free to comment on my poetry. I have a feeling you'll like "Reflection."

You have talent there, it can definitely be developed and I
suggest you work hard and you will continue to improve. I have been
where that poem writes, and so I understand and feel from this poem.
Good write, it evoked such feelings of sadness in me.

~Kara

This is an excellent, emotional piece. Well done. I really like this line; "Not fearful of death but life; the happiness of which I mourn..." Powerful stuff....
